At Embassy Ingredients, you will join a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment that is: Growing at a rate of 20% year over year Integrates artificial intelligence with ERP systems Explores international purchasing opportunities Your Role Will Be Responsible For: Manage and oversee the procurement of raw materials, contracts, and essential goods and services Establish and enforce the Purchasing department's budget Evaluate, update, and implement purchasing policies to optimize processes Maintain accurate inventory records to proactively identify when new stock is needed and avoid shortages Lead hard negotiations on behalf of the organization for all purchases within the Purchasing department while maintaining strong, longterm relationships with vendors Source flavor ingredients from both international and local suppliers, evaluating based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with international trade regulations Provide backup support to the Replenishment and Planning team, ensuring seamless operations and continuity What You Need to Bring to Embassy: 3-5 years of progressive experience in mid to seniorlevel purchasing role(s) in a bakery environment A university or college degree in business administration, commerce, economics, or a relevant field Designation in Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) is an asset Demonstrate enthusiasm in a forwardthinking, hightech environment driven by integration with artificial intelligence and ERP systems Expert in effectively managing and overseeing departmental budgets Proven leader with outstanding communication and hard negotiation skills Excels in dynamic, collaborative environments, fostering positivity and teamwork to achieve shared goals and drive success Provide comprehensive expertise and deep insights into the market Exceptional analytical and reporting expertise Thrives in a highenergy, fastpaced setting with a strong 'get it done now' and positive attitude Exceptional at staying organized and detail-focused with the ability to master time management to drive efficiency and deliver results Embassy Ingredients is committed to providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities through the recruitment, selection and/or assessment process.
