In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityBDO Digital is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our client-facing Technology Consulting team and own the following responsibilities:Managing projects in SDLC starting from the SOW creation, identifying the project objectives, project initiation, resource allocation, requirements analysis, design, software development, quality assurance, and deployment planResponsible for overall project performance and executive-level reporting, including project health, milestones status, critical issues, resource allocation, risk identification, risk mitigation, budget tracking, and lessons learnedActing as a single point of contact for all projects communication with the client and internal stakeholdersDeveloping and maintaining the project charter, project plan, communicate the % completion and project health to all stakeholdersResponsible for the change management, identifying change request scope, budget, timeline, and obtaining approval from executive sponsorsEnsuring all deliverables are completed, preparing release notes and receiving the signoff on milestones and the final closure reportResponsible for building the team structure, defining role and responsibilities, and plan for onboarding of new team membersManaging the program budget by calculating the ETC and BTC and EVManaging many technical teams of different team members, including Cloud Architects, Developers, Technical Architects, Business Analysts, QAs, DevOpsApplying the Agile Scrum Methodology to deliver the project through sprints and a successful deliveryResponsible for all Agile artifacts and Sprint events covering Sprint planning, Stand-ups, Sprint Retrospectives, and Sprint ReviewsHow do we define success for your role?You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and CollaborationYou understand your clients industry, challenges, and opportunities; client describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality workYou identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clientsYou share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains and attracts talentYou actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplaceYou grow your expertise through learning and professional developmentYour Experience And EducationDegree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology and at least 10 years relevant experience managing software delivery applicationsExperience completing successful migrations to Azure Cloud for infrastructure and applicationsKnowledge of the software development lifecycle and toolsStrong team leadership and coaching skillsAt least 8-10 years of experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA or Azure DevOpsExperience working in a SAFe, or Kanban, or Scrum Agile methodologyPMP certificationAgile Scrum Master certificationYour SkillsAgile Scrum Methodology, JIRA & Atlassian or Azure DevOps Knowledge, Microsoft Project, Effective Communication, Scheduling and Time Management, Leadership, Team Management, Risk Management, Budget ManagementWhy BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among Canadas Top 100 Employers for 2025.Our firm is committed to providing an environment where you can be successful in the following ways:We enable you to engage with how we change and evolve, being a key contributor to the success and growth of BDO in Canada.We help you become a better professional within our services, industries, and markets with extensive opportunities for learning and development.We support your achievement of personal goals outside of the office and making an impact on your community.Giving back adds up: Where company meets community.
