Venor is proud to partner with Saeplast in their search for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in Saint John, NB. Based in Saint John, for over 30 years, Saeplasts engineers and designers have worked hard to ensure that their products meet the toughest demands for their global customers. Saeplast constantly strives to improve the designs for better handling and increased safety, thereby raising the value of their customers products. Reporting to the Controller; the Supply Chain Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, timely deliveries, and effective coordination between suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams. What youll be doing Coordinate and monitor all supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and shipping. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate, cost-effective, and timely deliveries. Maintain up-to-date records of purchase orders, inventory levels, shipment schedules, and supplier information. Track shipments and proactively resolve any logistical issues or delivery delays. Assist with demand forecasting, procurement planning, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support efficient order fulfillment. Analyze data and prepare reports on supply chain performance, cost trends, and delivery metrics. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable legal standards. What we are looking for Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, best practices, and performance metrics. Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management tools. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is considered an asset. Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations is an advantage. Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are considered a plus.
