Program Overview The Analyst will participate in a 15week internship from May to August 2026, including a oneweek training and orientation program. In addition to onthejob experience, the program offers networking across business groups, learning about BMO Capital Markets culture, training seminars, and career guidance from dedicated mentors. Key team member aptitudes and attributes Detail oriented and interested in understanding carbon credit policies Organized and able to gather data inputs and use them to produce useful information Curious and able to research new market segments to contribute to business planning efforts Openminded and willing to learn Diligent and consistent in gathering inputs for routine performance reports Client obsessed understand that clients are at the center of everything we do, and support systems, structures, tools and product collateral that optimizes client experience Core expectations and responsibilities Implement current processes and systems and strive to resolve stakeholder challenges Contribute to offset project plans, project design documents and policy documentation to support internal stakeholders and prepare for thirdparty verifications Execute efficient and effective data analysis and QA/QC work to ensure program monitoring, reporting, and auditing requirements are met Execute project verification activities, including addressing technical and clientrelated questions/issues identified by thirdparty verification bodies Assess technical risks and opportunities in the commercialization of carbon credits to ensure marketing success Provide input into technical carbon policies and regulations in a way that is understandable and actionable for lesstechnical teammates Support complex projects to meet goals of being on time and within budget Assess options to design effective system requirements documentation for software development and participate in software development cycles Contribute to the development of new products/projects Other related tasks and assignments as needed for the successful ideation, business planning/financial modeling, launch, scaling, and sunsetting of carbon credit development products Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Masters program (non MBA) with a graduation date of Dec 2026 or April 2027 Currently working toward a degree in Business, Environment Sustainability, or Engineering Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or legally authorized to work in Canada and no future sponsorship required Strong academic record and extracurricular achievement How to Apply Submit your application via the BMO application link.
