Planifie, organise, dirige et centralise les activits du dpartement via les responsables de projet/responsables des lots de travail, en garantissant l'efficacit, quelles que soient les pressions internes et externes. Surveille, rvise et approuve la charge de travail pour s'assurer que les dlais sont respects. Assigne des tches dans son primtre de contrle, rsolvant les problmes techniques ou de ressources humaines. Collabore troitement avec le gestionnaire principal pour diriger les oprations et l'orientation technique des groupes, en veillant ce que cette direction soit conforme aux objectifs stratgiques et techniques long terme de l'entreprise. Participe aux revues de conception pour garantir la solidit des travaux de conception lis aux tests/simulateurs/SLMD pour le dveloppement et le dploiement de nouveaux projets. Soutient le gestionnaire principal, le responsable des offres et le directeur dans la planification stratgique long terme, les estimations de cots, et est responsable de la prvision de la main-d'uvre et du respect des budgets de capital et de dpenses. Veille au respect des procdures de l'entreprise et des normes de mise en uvre. Prpare le plan de formation interne/externe du dpartement et est responsable de son excution, en lien avec les formulaires de besoins individuels en formation et les ressources humaines. Maintient une interface efficace entre la direction et le personnel du dpartement, facilitant la circulation continue des informations entre tous les niveaux. Informe pleinement la direction intermdiaire et suprieure des activits du groupe. Communique la stratgie de l'entreprise au groupe. Participe des runions avec d'autres dpartements et/ou clients concernant les exigences contractuelles, garantissant que l'intgrit des produits et du travail est maintenue et que le dveloppement produit peut tre rutilis dans diffrents projets. Soutient la planification et la re-planification des projets, y compris la prparation des estimations, des calendriers et des plans de dveloppement logiciel de test. Collabore avec les responsables des lots de travail pour le suivi des projets, en surveillant les performances par rapport au budget et au calendrier, en interprtant les mtriques, et en fournissant des rapports hebdomadaires avec le soutien des chefs de groupe. Identifie prcocement les risques et met en uvre les actions correctives ncessaires. Participe la prparation des estimations des offres, des budgets de capital, des budgets oprationnels, des plans de formation du dpartement, des prvisions de main-d'uvre, de la planification des installations et de l'acquisition d'outils. Exigences cls Exprience : 10+ ans d'exprience avre dans l'industrie lectronique, dans un rle de dveloppement de systme de test matriel dans un environnement de fabrication. ducation : Diplme universitaire en gnie lectrique, mcatronique, gnie systme, ou dans un domaine connexe. Connaissances techniques : Connaissance du gnie des composants, du cycle de vie et des principes de conception ECO. Connaissance des rglements environnementaux mondiaux lis l'industrie lectronique. Exprience de 5+ ans dans un poste de gestion ou de supervision, ayant coordonn et dirig des quipes internes. Comptences excellentes en planification. Capacit interagir avec des clients importants et des responsables de projets. Doit tre capable de communiquer clairement des situations complexes diffrents intervenants. Comptences organisationnelles fortes et capacit quilibrer plusieurs priorits. Matrise des processus de dveloppement en gnie matriel. Solide exprience avec des outils de dveloppement de tests logiciels tels que LabView et TestStand. Solide exprience avec les outils et processus PLM et MRP. Connaissances des outils de dveloppement matriel. Excellentes comptences en communication crite et orale ; la matrise de l'anglais est obligatoire. Excellentes comptences interpersonnelles et exprience en service client. Capacit travailler efficacement dans un environnement d'quipe. Qualifications prfres Licence P. Eng. un atout. Manager, Industrial Operations Responsible for managing a highly skilled team of electrical/electronic engineers and industrial engineers responsible for test system designs, component engineering, ECO design, and industrial engineering. The Manager, Industrial Operations is responsible for developing and sustaining a performance-driven organization by ensuring all HR cycle elements-including talent review, succession planning, and training initiatives-are in place and progressed. The role involves optimizing work demand and capacity, managing team growth, and addressing labor forecast challenges, while building a 'one team spirit' culture within the Urban Rail Signaling domain. Key Accountabilities Manages employees by assigning tasks, motivating, training, assessing performance, and mentoring team members. Plans, organizes, directs, and centralizes department activities through Project Leads or Work Package Managers, ensuring department effectiveness despite external or internal pressures. Monitors, reviews, and approves workloads to ensure schedules are adhered to. Resolves technical and human resource problems by assigning work effectively within the area of control. Partners with the Senior Manager to manage operational and technical direction for the groups, ensuring alignment with long-term company strategies and objectives. Participates in design reviews to ensure the soundness of Test/Simulator/SLMD designs for project development and deployment. Soutiens Senior Manager, Bids Lead, and Director in strategic and long-term business planning, cost estimates, and labor forecasting, while adhering to capital and expense budgets. Ensures adherence to company procedures and implementation standards. Creates and executes department internal/external training plans in collaboration with Human Resources. Maintains effective communication flow between senior management and department staff, ensuring full transparency regarding group activities. Communicates company strategy to the team and facilitates collaboration across departments. Engages with other departments/customers to ensure contractual requirements are met, product integrity is maintained, and designs are reusable across projects. Soutient project planning and re-planning by preparing estimates, schedules, and Test Software Development Plans. Collaborates with Work Package Managers (WPMs) to monitor project tracking, performance against budget and schedule, performance metric collection, and weekly reporting. Identifies risks early and implements corrective actions to mitigate them. Participates in bid estimates, capital budgets, operating budgets, department training plans, labor forecast planning, facilities planning, and tool acquisition efforts. Key Requirements 10+ years of proven experience in the electronics industry, preferably in HW test system development roles within manufacturing environments. University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field. Strong knowledge of component engineering, lifecycle, and ECO design principles. Familiarity with global environmental regulations related to the electronics industry. 5+ years of management or supervisory experience, including coordinating internal teams. Strong experience with test development software tools such as LabView and TestStand. Proficiency with PLM and MRP tools and processes. Strong knowledge of hardware engineering development processes and tools. Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Ability to communicate complex situations clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mandatory fluency in English. Experience interfacing directly with customer leadership and project leadership teams. Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service experience.
