Araxi Has Been Widely Recognized For Its Excellence, Including Tripadvisor 2024 Best of Travelers Choice Ranked #1 Restaurant in Whistler #6 Fine Dining Restaurant in Canada Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards Hall of Fame (2021) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete assigned daily prep items with high quality and fresh ingredients Maintain a high level of detail with regards to product presentation and design Sample ingredients, mix, and finished products, ensuring standards, quality, and created flavour profiles are met Maintain exceptional cleanliness and optimal equipment maintenance Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver a memorable food experience Stay up to date on food trends and contemporary developments within pastry Monitor inventory and budget to ensure the best use of inventory and allocation of expenses Required Experience and Qualifications At least two years of related culinary experience in premium Western cuisine Completion of a designated culinary school Passionate and knowledgeable about bread making, classic baking techniques, and individual dessert plating Ability to multi-task with an eye for detail Organized and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills and strong English communication skills Understanding of scheduling and inventory is an asset Applicants must have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, CIS, or a valid work permit Salary CA$60,000.00 CA$70,000.00 Employment Type Full time Seniority Level Entry level Company Araxi Restaurant + Oyster Bar This position will remain open until filled. #J-18808-Ljbffr
