Job Description

Overview Join the Accounts Payable Coordinator team at Cencora . This 18month contract places you at the heart of our health innovation mission. Job Details 18month contract; fulltime. Responsibilities Thorough knowledge of AP functions; prepare and reconcile reports. Maintain supplier database in ERP per SOX guidelines. Review supplier invoices; 3way match drug suppliers; ensure approvals and GL allocations. Enter early payment discounts promptly. Assess HST/GST and QST; follow provincial rules. Upload copay payments for drug, pharmacy, patient; avoid duplicates and ethical walls. Analyze vendor invoices; allocate to prepaid expenses, fixed assets. Handle intercompany charges. Breakdown Bell, FedEx and Purolator invoices. Reconcile supplier statements timely. Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies. Prepare entries with backup for monthend accrued liabilities. Produce and analyze aging reports. Escalate problems to Manager and Controller. Ensure payments issued by due dates. Prepare payment proposal; perform weekly EFT, cheques and wire transfers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2 years AP management or related bookkeeping experience. Postsecondary education in accounting preferred. Experience in a copay environment. Experience with ERP; Sage asset. Knowledge of SOX asset. Intermediate computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Skills and Abilities Excellent analysis and problemsolving to reconcile vendor deductions. Excellent interpersonal and communication to interact with vendors and departments. Excellent keyboarding skills. Ability to work in fastpaced, highvolume environment while staying organized with attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate results. Selfstarter requiring limited supervision and desire to work in team environment.
