Structural Geologist Graduate WSP Canada Join WSPs geoscience team as a Structural Geologist Graduate. This role bridges detailed structural geology interpretation with geotechnical engineering applications across mining, power, and infrastructure projects. What Youll Do Conduct field structural mapping and core logging. Characterize faults, fractures, veins, and joint sets. Support rock mass characterization and prepare engineering geology models. Collaborate with engineers on stability assessments and geomechanical modeling. Use tools such as Dips, Leapfrog, and Rocscience to integrate geological structures into engineering analyses. Prepare figures, crosssections, stereonets, and technical reports. Participate in remote fieldwork and travel as required. What You Bring Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Geology, Structural Geology, Geological Engineering, or related discipline. Strong foundation in structural geology with the ability to apply concepts to engineering challenges. Knowledge of rock mechanics principles and interest in geomechanical expertise. Geological field mapping experience. Proficiency in Leapfrog Geo or similar 3D modelling software. Familiarity with stereonet analysis and structural data interpretation. Willingness to travel and work in the field. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Valid drivers license and vehicle access. Working toward or eligible for Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) or EngineerinTraining (EIT) status. Why WSP?
