Water Resources Engineer Intermediate Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer to join our multidisciplinary Water Resources team. This role is based in Windsor (preferred), Oakville or Hamilton and offers flexible work hours. Why Dillon? What youll do Water Resources Design & Analysis Provide technical input for public and private sector projects, lead hydrologic and hydraulic modelling assignments, develop stormwater management designs, conduct stormwater studies and cost estimates, and produce technical reports. Project Management & Collaboration Direct and coordinate water resources activities, manage project schedules and budgets, prepare project reports and presentations, and communicate design details to clients and stakeholders. Learning & Development Commit to selfdevelopment, participate in professional associations, mentor junior staff, and contribute to Dillons corporate profile. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering or applicable technical degree. Professional designation or eligibility to achieve professional designation within six months in Ontario. 5+ years relevant consulting experience in water resources engineering. Valid drivers license. Proficiency with PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, HECRAS and other water resources tools. Strong understanding of municipal and provincial drainage design standards. Excellent communication, report writing and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Selfmotivated and detailoriented. Experience Handson design and analysis experience with visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, HECRAS and other modelling tools. Experience with InfoWorks ICM, ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HECHMS considered an asset. Design and analysis experience for stormwater management, flood line mapping, transportation drainage. Project management and coordination experience. Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills. Commitment to client satisfaction and quality. Experience in Ontario considered an asset.
