Position Summary Under general supervision of the Director of Operations, the Venue Audio/Visual Manager is responsible for installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals for TD Coliseum technology functions on a daytoday basis, as well as providing support to eventspecific A/V needs. The position requires nonstandard working hours, weekends, and holidays. Annual salary: $60,000$80,000 CAD. Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Pension matching Paid Time Off (vacation, sick days, 11 holidays) Responsibilities Manage installation and maintenance of onsite hardware and software including workstations, multimedia displays, and video conferencing support. Maintain systems that support A/V technology across the venue. Provide technical leadership and support for onsite staff and contractors. Support event operations of digital signage, audio systems, and stadium communications. Assist with longterm planning, budgets, and capital improvements for technology systems. Diagnose and repair issues, contacting service vendors when necessary. Maintain equipment storage and inventory for all A/V assets. Report system failures to Venue Leadership promptly. Document procedures and label equipment as needed. Develop preventive maintenance program for equipment. Schedule upgrades and maintenance in collaboration with event and operations schedules. Support physical cabling and wireless infrastructure (fiber, copper, AV, broadcast, wireless). Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Improve programming and maintenance over time. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 35 years of experience in an Audio/Visual lead, preferably in events and sports/entertainment industry. Experience as a team lead or manager with direct reports. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 tools and Office suite. Experience with A/V integration software and hardware it relies on. Experience with TriplePlay software and Daktronics displays is preferable. Proficiency with MacOS, Windows operating systems, hardware, and peripherals. Proficiency with clientserver infrastructure and onsite support. Basic understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting. Excellent documentation and process skills. Ability to communicate professionally and courteous manner. Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in fastpaced environment. Detail oriented with excellent followthrough skills. Knowledge of event related services, facility capabilities, and technical requirements for anticipated events. Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative. Work effectively with diverse backgrounds. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work nights, weekends, holidays as needed. Adhere to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality. Speak, read, and write in English.
