From concept through to preproduction stage, Product Development is the frontline regarding communication with the finished goods vendor base, launching sketches, requesting sampling, fitting product and keeping an accurate data library of the life cycle of a product. Product Development is a truly crossfunctional working group that pivots to partners such as Design, Concept, Fit, Quality, Merchandising, Finished Goods Sourcing, Raw Materials and Go To Market operations to deliver a commercially ready product to our buying teams. A Day In The Life The Assistant Technical Developer creates worldclass athletic and lifestyle apparel that is acknowledged as leading in innovation, design, function, fit, and quality. Responsible for sample management, style number & colorway creation Maintain data integrity in Flex PLM Support daily workflow that adheres to GTM deliverables & development timelines Develop and create tech packs in Flex PLM to communicate requirements for design aesthetic, fit, and construction (while considering cost impact) Measure and review proto samples based on submitted tech pack Assist in the preparation of fittings & presentations as required Assist in the actual fittings for Technical Developer & Senior TD as required Take notes of the required fit and construction corrections discussed Spec and analyze garments to determine compliance of measurements, workmanship, construction direction, and fit intent Work closely with the Technical Developer & Senior TD to advance technical knowledge of our brands construction and fit standards Facilitate weartesting protocol with vendors & crossfunctional partners Qualifications 4Year BA degree with focused training in Technical Design, Patternmaking, or relevant experience Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook), Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) 02 years minimum industry experience (preferably within the Technical Design and/or Patternmaking Departments) Familiarity or proficiency with Gerber Pattern Making and/or 3D software (CLO, Browzwear) is an asset Must Haves Attention to detail, initiative, organization, and strong verbal & written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks & competing priorities Selfmotivated, strong sense of urgency, collaborative mindset Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, crossfunctional team environment Excellent time management, organizational & problemsolving skills Curiosity for change & learning, capable of managing ambiguity Additional Notes Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role. Compensation And Benefits Package lululemons compensation offerings are grounded in a payforperformance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,300 - 61,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
