As an experienced HR professional, your portfolio will consist of experience in Recruitment, HR Compliance, Benefits Administration, Disability Management, HR Reporting, and Employee Relations. You prioritize collaboration with other departments and are eager to ensure the highest employee satisfaction levels. In addition, you are passionate about the principles and philosophy of Closer to Home and believe strongly in the mission and vision of the organization. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent. Develop and execute creative recruitment methods. Attend external functions such as job fairs and cultural events. Assist the HRBP with benefits administration and disability claims with a third party provider. Collaborate with HR leadership on recruitment strategies based on labour market trends and internal growth. Work with Rippling Workforce Management System for recruitment and reports. Educate staff on all policies, procedures, systems and best practices, so they are followed consistently throughout the organization. Act as front line HR support to employees regarding human resources issues and information sharing. Foster and build trusting relationships within the organization. Support any workplace investigations under the direction of Senior HR Manager. Complete routine compliance audits on staff compliance documentation to ensure agency aligns with all legislations such as: Alberta Employment Standards, Alberta Human Rights, Occupational Health and Safety and Canada Revenue Agency. Qualifications A Post Secondary Education in HR or a related field is required. Preference will be given to applicants holding a Bachelor's Degree in HR. 2 to 3 years of HR experience in an individual contributor role. Highly organized with keen attention to detail; able to handle multiple priorities at the same time. Ability to learn new systems, adapt to changing technologies and optimize work processes. Ability to maintain confidentiality and make fair, unbiased decisions. Critical thinking and problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clear Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check to be submitted upon hire. Flexibility to work outside typical hours when necessary, including evenings and weekends. Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, current $2M liability insurance, and willingness to provide a drivers abstract upon hire.
