Job Summary The Operations Manager serves as the leadership for the location, resolving customer issues, and professionally representing Stephensons at all times. Reporting to the Hub Manager, this role provides coaching, training and development to the onsite staff while developing plans and strategies to grow the business. Requirements 5 years of rental or related experience gained either in construction, home improvement or retail. 2 years of Supervisory experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Postsecondary education preferred but not required. G Class Drivers Licence with a clean abstract. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong leadership, influencing, communication and organizational skills. Excellent decision making and problemsolving skills. Experience with Health and Safety training is an asset. Responsibilities Work closely with the Hub Manager to develop annual plans and strategies to grow the business. Assists the Hub Manager with coordinating daily activities of FullTime and Part Time Sales Associates. Responsible for training, development, coaching and engaging employees. Fulfill the same duties as a Sales Associate on a frequent basis. Maximize sales opportunities with customers. Resolves issues that may escalate to a Supervisory level. Monitors inventory and ensures that the right equipment is available at the right times. Oversees the quality of the product and merchandising for the location. Adheres to and promotes all Company Safety Policies. Other duties as assigned.
