Job Description

Network Administrator (6 months contract) Join the Sobeys team as a Network Administrator on a 6month contract. The role can be based out of our main offices in Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB; or Montreal, QC. Responsibilities Network Monitoring: Use network monitoring tools to track system performance and uptime and escalates issues as needed. Basic Troubleshooting: Respond to userreported network issues, perform diagnostics, and resolve or escalates problems. Hardware Support: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, access points, and cabling. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents. Security Awareness: Follow established security protocols and assist in implementing basic security measures. Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and certifications to build technical skills and knowledge. Qualifications 02 years of experience in a networking or IT support role. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT). Familiarity with network tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG). Entrylevel certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA (in progress or completed). Strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
