Corporate CoordinatorFull-time, PermanentReports to Chief Executive OfficerPOSITION SUMMARYReporting to The Chief Executive Officer, the Corporate Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of organization-wide responsibilities. These include governance support, maintaining the corporate calendar of activities, serving as policy custodian, supporting accreditation preparation, and assisting in the maintenance of the electronic document repository (e.g., SharePoint).Key Responsibilities:Coordinate calendars and work schedules, primarily for the Board of Directors and its Committees.Prepare, format, and maintain organizational documents.Support senior leadership team and governance meetings through agenda preparation, document management, and minute-taking.Schedule meetings, including coordinating logistics (locations, catering, materials, technology).Provide support on organizational issues relevant to management and governance (e.g., accreditation, annual client engagement forum, client focus groups)Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in the performance of duties.Keep internal calendars up to date (org. events, annual operations routines such as the Fire Drill at Transitional Care Sorrento RH)Communication:In this role, the Corporate Coordinator will be required to communicate with:Employees and Senior ManagementOutside customers/clientsQualifications:Post-secondary education in Office Administration or equivalent.Minimum two (2) years experience in an administrative role supporting executive teams and/or Boards, preferably in the non-profit sector.Flexible to work as a hybrid model, including occasionally early evenings to support the Board of Directors.Experience with digital archive maintenance (e.g., SharePoint).Knowledge of not-for-profit governance and organizational management.Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and desktop publishing.Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check.Commitment to working safely and promoting the health and safety of staff, volunteers, clients, and the community.CANES Community Care is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and barrier-free workplace.
