Maintenance Manager - Cambridge Suites Toronto The Cambridge Suites Toronto is a 231suite hotel located at Yonge and Richmond streets. We are looking for an Executive Housekeeper who will be responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved throughout guestrooms, public areas, and backofhouse spaces. The position requires a handson leader who can balance administrative duties, team management, and service excellence. Manga Hotel Group is a Canadian company involved in the acquisition, development and management of highquality residences and hotels affiliated with prestigious brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt and Intercontinental Hotels Group. Currently, Manga Hotels owns and operates 34 hotels with over 6,000 rooms across Canada and the United States, 18 food and beverage outlets and 5 residential properties with several new properties and developments in the pipeline. As Manga Hotels continues to expand, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our growing team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Developing and administering the preventative maintenance schedule; Completing work orders in a timely manner and ensuring all work orders are properly documented (i.e., completed forms and/or closed in the system); Monitoring the general condition of the building and surroundings by regularly walking the property; Maintaining knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment including chillers, boilers, water softeners, refrigeration equipment, plumbing and electrical systems, and hotel shuttle; Maintaining knowledge of local building codes and other applicable building laws, blueprint reading, and building construction; Managing the sourcing, interviewing, cultural training, and ongoing development of the maintenance department, focusing on team member satisfaction, productivity, and guest satisfaction; Ensuring all fire and safety inspections are completed and correcting any discrepancies; Obtaining pricing and bids or developing cost estimates as directed; Monitoring supplies and maintaining the working order of tools and equipment, managing respective inventories, and completing orders as necessary; Completing and documenting monthly tool inventory; Ensuring all monthly, quarterly, and yearly documentation including but not limited to preventative maintenance forms and brandrequired documentation is completed and submitted to the General Manager for review per brand/company policy; Completing all monthly, quarterly, and yearly inspections in a timely, accurate manner and responding appropriately; Scheduling outside contractor work, including fire systems and equipment as necessary; Maintaining the pool, including performing chemical testing and keeping uptodate logbooks; Responding to guest requests and complaints promptly, efficiently, appropriately, and in a friendly manner; Maintaining a professional image at all times through appearance and dress; Following company policies and procedures and effectively communicating them to subordinates, including following all company and jobspecific safety policies and immediately reporting any accidents or hazards; Handling guest concerns, compliments, and suggestions in a professional manner; Operating the hotel in compliance with all federal, provincial, and local laws, including city bylaws and codes; and Performing such other duties as assigned by the General Manager or their designate.
