About The Role As a Business Advisor in our Claims Optimization team , you will contribute to the success of efficient processes to deliver unparalleled customer service. Your ability to demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset will be essential as you will act as a global representative of the claims department. Autonomous and detail-oriented, you have a passion for process improvement. What Youll Do Here Actively lead or participate in process improvement projects, from idea to implementation and monitoring of solutions. Optimize claims management models and work methods to improve efficiency and customer service delivery. Build relationships and collaborate with multiple teams and experts to take stock of the current state and define the future state using a process improvement framework. Promote change within the company as a factor in achieving our strategic objectives and improving the employee and customer experience. Use change management and project management techniques to lead or support the implementation of sustainable change. Lead or actively participate in the collection, research, extraction and organization of data to answer specific business questions. Perform basic or in-depth statistical analyses and compile results. Conduct or support cost-benefit analyses. Propose creative business solutions and formulate viable recommendations. Transform and effectively communicate complex concepts, both orally and in writing, to a variety of stakeholders, from front-line team members to senior executives. Support the development of documentation related to process improvement initiatives, including tools, templates, training materials, analyses, etc. Train or assist others to adopt a continuous improvement approach and use a process improvement framework. Lead strategic visioning workshops to reinvent claims processes, integrating targeted uses of AI to increase efficiency and customer experience. What You Bring To The Table 3+ years' experience as an advisor, analyst or similar role. Professional experience in the insurance industry (experience in the claims department is considered an asset). Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred, will also consider a combination of practical experience or equivalent education. Practical experience in project management and change management preferred. STEM background preferred. Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Intermediate to advanced process mapping skills; value stream mapping experience an asset. Analytical skills and strong attention to detail. Written and verbal communication skills and ability to popularize complex data and concepts for various stakeholders. Strong presentation skills for a variety of audiences. Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset. Curious by nature and enjoys delving into complex problems and concepts. Positive attitude and ability to establish and maintain good relations with all stakeholders. Problem-solving and persuasion skills to overcome resistance to change. Team player who can provide and receive constructive feedback. No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
