Role Overview Neo is rapidly expanding and has gained incredible traction since its founding in 2019. The Lead, Product Designer will lead experience design for the Banking domain and will evolve as we grow. You will help build new products, scale existing ones, and raise design maturity across the org. What Youll Be Doing Design end-to-end product experiences across web and mobile, balancing usability, polish, and performance. Collaborate with PMs and engineers from problem framing through execution to ensure the right problems are solved well. Lead discovery efforts: map journeys, define flows, prototype concepts, and validate ideas through research. Build systems, not just screens, considering long-term scalability, edge cases, accessibility, and real-world constraints. Help set the vision and strategy for your domain, bringing a customer lens to roadmap and feature planning. Work with content, research, and data to understand user needs and uncover opportunities. Contribute to and extend Neos design system to enable quality at scale. Communicate clearly and often, sharing rationale, presenting work, and influencing decisions at every level. Mentor and support other designers, raising the quality bar across teams. Who We Are Looking For 8+ years of product design experience shipping real-world products across platforms. Strong craft across interaction, visual design, and information architecture. Experience working cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, researchers, and content designers. Strong systems thinker, connecting micro-interactions to broader customer journeys. Comfortable in ambiguity, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to messy problem spaces. Obsessive about outcomes, measuring success in customer impact, not pixels alone. Strong communicator who can present, explain, and defend design decisions with humility and clarity.
