Job Description Reporting to the Night Manager, the Assistant Night Manager assists with nightly tasks, ensures guest service standards during overnight periods, and acts on behalf of the General Manager when the Night Manager is absent. What You Will Be Doing Oversee night audit operations and manage the hotel in the Night Managers absence. Provide excellent guest service and assist with Front Desk tasks, including checkin and checkout. Ensure compliance with Front Office policies and complete nightly endofday reports, balancing accounts accurately. Support and motivate the night team, including performance evaluations and crisis management when necessary. Ensure a safe work environment, following health, safety, and emergency procedures. Handle guest requests, complaints, and interdepartmental communication effectively while completing administrative tasks as directed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of previous supervisory experience in Front Office operations. Experience as Assistant Night Manager is beneficial. Proven ability to guide and coach team members. Operational knowledge and proficiency in Property Management System (MicrosFidelio) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Superior coaching skills with a proven track record of developing and motivating careerminded professionals. Strong guest service orientation and training skills background required. Able to balance a variety of conflicting priorities while considering all aspects of the job (financial, operational, human resources). A working knowledge of a third language is an asset. Highly organized, resultsoriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure. Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
