2000 Brigantine Dr, Coquitlam, BC V3K 7B5, Canada Job Description Posted Friday, October 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM The Accounts Receivable Specialist assists the Credit Manager and team in collecting money owed on customer accounts, reconciling customer accounts and answering questions for internal and external customers, while taking into consideration the companys commitment to our seven core values such as Sustainability (people, planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility. Permanent Full-Time (40 hours) Monday to Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm; Hybrid In this role, you will: Reconcile Accounts Receivable accounts including investigating customer claims, issuing and applying credits, and performing collections Assess the risk level and credit worthiness of customers based on past history, credit reports, and identifying trouble signs and concerns through conversation Work with international customers and payment securities such as Letter of Credit and Documentary Collections Ask appropriate questions to gain insight and understanding of a customers financial situation, true intent, and overall character Analyze the documents given, references and credit reports, ensuring proper securities are obtained for establishing Payment Terms and Credit Limits for new accounts You have: Financial Management or Accounting Diploma, or equivalent experience (3+ years) High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with high-volume key accounts High proficiency with written and spoken English Knowledge of Syspro or similar accounting software (an asset) Proficiency with written and spoken French (an asset) Customer service and collection experience (an asset) Great benefits (healthcare, health & personal spending accounts, wellness days, Employee & Family Assistance Program) Company provided RRSP Loyalty share program (based on service length) $300.00 per year to spend on company products Employee discount pricing Employee appreciation events & rewards Free onsite parking Exclusive discounts with various vendors Why us?
