Position Summary The Purchasing Administrator is directly responsible for supporting the Procurement Department performing all relevant procurement administrative duties. The incumbent is directed by the Director of Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Procurement for all duties and responsibilities. The responsibilities and accountabilities of the position include but are not limited to the following: Report and data entry in SAP and Stradix. Conduct reconciliations in SAP and Stradix. Assist with expediting material at Mills and Processors. Enter Purchase Order data into relevant ERP Systems Validate all purchase orders against acknowledged Mill orders Cover vacation time for team members. Understand, support and adhere to the companys health and safety policies, programs and procedures by communicating and promoting health and safety awareness to coworkers. Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors and other key stakeholders of the company. Conduct oneself in a professional manner that reflects integrity and respect towards customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors and other key stakeholders of the company.
