Manufacturing Quality Lead Corrugated Packaging Independent Corrugator Inc. (ICI) is a leading manufacturer of corrugated products dedicated to delivering structurally and aesthetically appealing material within a rapid turnaround. We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Quality Lead to join our growing team. Job Summary: As the Manufacturing Quality Lead, you will own and manage the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal processes across various operations. You will collaborate with business units to maintain and enhance quality standards, investigate quality complaints, oversee critical quality defects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Key Responsibilities Lead the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Process: log, monitor, and report monthly. Investigate and resolve internal and external quality complaints using Lean/Six Sigma methodology and root cause analysis. Manage the Quality Management System and ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance. Lead ISO (re)certification processes, including audits, employee training, and system management. Oversee QMS elements such as pest control, equipment calibrations, mock recalls, and audit facilitation. Support client visits, address quality concerns, and issue compliance letters. Manage FSC compliance program, internal and external audits, and training. Implement best-in-class standards and processes to drive operations accountability. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and waste optimization. Generate and analyze quality data and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary. Ensure compliance with customer, ISO, and FSC regulatory requirements and company policies. Deliver executive-level presentations for customers and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with operations to improve product quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate customer incident reviews and the NCR process. Gather and interpret performance data to drive improvement initiatives. Utilize enterprise technology to analyze quality complaints and track corrective actions. Ensure team members adhere to quality standards through coaching, training, and audits. Maintain Good Manufacturing Processes and ISO system compliance. Qualifications 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in paper or corrugated environments. University degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Process Engineering, or related field. Professional training and certifications in ISO management. Professional training and certification in FSC preferred. SQF knowledge is an asset. Strong analytical and statistical skills. Proven problem-solving ability with attention to detail. Experience developing and implementing quality processes. Strong time management, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
