Job Overview The Human Resources Manager leads, directs, and develops strategies for the Human Resources department of Peavey Industries including but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning. Reports to: Vice President of People & Culture Direct Reports: Human Resources Generalist(s) Hours 37.5 hours /week 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (flex options available) In-Office Days: All team members are expected to work from the office from Tuesday to Friday Remote Day: Monday is designated as the remote workday Responsibilities Stakeholder Relations & Engagement Promote and embody the Peavey FABRIC Build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization Manage and conduct employee engagement surveys, organize, and present results, make recommendations based on the acquired results Oversee Climate Checks and advise on any weaknesses identified Provide the Executive Team with data, recommendations, and other information as needed Create and present content in video calls and other events Coach, mentor, and guide staff and management Provide recommendations and support regarding employee engagement Be a role model for our values and culture and act as a proactive change agent HR Services Assist managers in employee development and succession planning, aligning employee career motives to job performance objectives and organizational strategy and objectives In collaboration with Training & Development, create and facilitate training around human resources topics Oversee workplace accommodations, investigations, exit interviews, and other human resources tasks Review termination requests and provide approval when applicable Strategic Objectives Implement human resource programs and services, including talent management, succession planning, employee relations, records management, employee engagement, etc. Set and achieve annual goals Attendance at relevant webinars that will provide value to Peavey Analyze trends and metrics related to human resources functions Partner with leadership to develop and execute Peavey Industries HR strategy HR Team Management Support the Human Resources Team and provide guidance, recommendations, and advice as needed Encourage the input and development of the human resources team members Champion HR change management as project manager and leader Regular check-ins with the Human Resources Team to promote teamwork and mutual success Provide the Human Resources Team with regular, constructive feedback Oversee workflow of the Human Resources department to seek efficiencies and areas for opportunity Policy Development & Implementation Ensure legal compliance with employment/labour standards and practices in all provinces Oversee creation and revision of all human resources forms Oversee development of Job Descriptions and R-Matrix in accordance with job analysis/evaluation Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures Core Values Positively communicate and demonstrate the companys Core Values.
