Senior Accountant Integrations Overview Senior Accountant Integrations On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Senior Accountant Integrations for a 3 month contract in Calgary, AB. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the accounting related integration process for all acquisitions. The initial focus will be on the Medical Aesthetics (MA) division. This role will be the primary liaison for the financial consolidation and analysis of non-integrated entities and will work closely with various internal teams to streamline the onboarding process for MA clinics. Senior Accountant Integrations Responsibilities Liase between acquired clinics and various internal departments on all finance related matters related to integration of acquired clinics Primary contact for multiple bookkeepers of non-integrated acquisitions on accounting matters. Support onboarding process for Medical Aesthetic clinics including scheduling and leading meetings with finance and operations staff to determine current financial and operational capabilities, identify gaps and determine solutions Maintain and continually update master schedule, status and summary of Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) entries across all acquisitions Review financials for acquired entities to ensure alignment with PPA entry Prepare and / or review pre and post acquisition related reconciliations and lead finalization of Purchase Price Adjustments in accordance with Purchase and Sale Agreements Prepare monthly consolidation schedule for non-integrated Medical Aesthetic Division for Financial Reporting team Ensure required monthly reporting submissions from clinics are received and check for accuracy and completeness of information provided Perform initial variance analysis of results against budget and liaise with clinic to understand variance causes Support the operational analysis of the MA division, including : For Medical Aesthetic acquisitions, work with clinic staff to create doctor compensation models in excel and review and / or update calculations on monthly basis Assist in the completion of special projects and / or ad hoc projects throughout the business as required Senior Accountant Integrations Must Have Skills Possession of a CPA designation is required Minimum of four years progressive accounting experience Post-secondary education from recognized institution in accounting and finance Experience with the preparation of financial statement consolidations Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel A professional, technically proficient, independent and critical thinker who builds positive relationships and likes to have fun!
