What Youll Do As a CNC Operator , youll play a key role in the production of custom components for trade shows, exhibits, and live experiences. Youll work with advanced woodworking and machining tools to shape, cut, and finish materials that become part of unforgettable brand environments. Responsibilities Setting up and operating CNC machines to shape parts from wood, metal, foam, and plastic. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and manuals to understand project specifications. Preparing machines with the correct tools, materials, and cutting parameters. Inspecting workpieces throughout production to ensure accuracy and quality. Performing basic preventative maintenance and cleaning on machines and tooling. Using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify measurements and tolerances. Operating forklifts (both standup and sitdown) to move materials safely and efficiently. Collaborating with teammates and supporting multiple projects in a fastpaced shop environment. What You Bring Experience operating CNC machines in a woodshop or manufacturing setting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work. Comfort working with various materials including wood, foam, and plastics. Teamoriented mindset with solid problemsolving and communication skills. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one). Flexibility and dependability youre someone who takes ownership of your work.
