Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Join to apply for the Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services role at Nova Scotia Health Authority About The Opportunity The Physiotherapist reports to a Health Services Manager and, as a member of a clinical team, collaborates with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participates in the evaluation of team effectiveness, solves problems, and shares responsibilities. The Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients in a community healthcare setting who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers with regard to health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of Physiotherapy Assistants. About You Graduation from a university with a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy Current registration with The Nova Scotia Regulator of Physiotherapy, required Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Continuing education course in the area of orthopedics is an asset Maintain current certification in CPR Effective communication and interpersonal skills Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset Hours Permanent Part-Time position, 37.5 Hours Bi-Weekly Compensation And Benefits $38.43 - $49.74 Hourly.
