Overview Operator Plant A Shifts, Day & Night, RVI-Hanceville, AL (October) Join Tyson Foods. Responsibilities Loadout Operator Load and inspect finished product, inspect trailers and tankers, collect samples, test samples, keep documentation, maintain a safe work environment and comply with Tyson policies and procedures. When not loading tankers or trucks, work in production area as assigned by supervisor. Machine Operator Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies used on line. Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed, notify supervisor if machine requires maintenance, maintain a safe work environment and comply with Tyson policies and procedures. Control Room Operator Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies used on line. Monitor product throughout processing phase, maintain communication with all production team members to coordinate equipment adjustments as needed. Operate computer PLCs, documented previous floor experience in multiple areas of rendering facility. Physical and Safety Requirements The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. Noise level is usually loud. Shifts and Schedule A Shift Sunday to Wednesday 6am to 6pm B Shift Sunday to Wednesday 6pm to 6am C Shift Thursday to Sunday 6am to 6pm D Shift Thursday to Sunday 6pm to 6am Eligibility and Experience Must have 6 months industrial machine operator experience listed on application and 6 months of continuous work history with 1 employer within last 2 years. Rehire and Hiring Policies Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire rule: no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
