Solutions Engineer III/Senior - WFH (remote) - 110k-125k Join GardaWorld as a Senior Solutions Engineer. Remote (WFH). Salary 110k-125k. Position Summary Senior Solutions Engineer is the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Responsibilities include driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, serving as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. Duties & Responsibilities Assist sales teams (Account Executives, Major Accounts) in completing RFP/RFQ bids. Perform discovery and analysis of business needs, define client requirements with Account Executives, determine technical fit and suitability of our other products, including managed services. Convey client requirements to the client and provide insight into technical options for network and server infrastructure. Assist in designing leading-edge solutions containing a wide variety of technologies. Work closely with Account Executives to determine configuration of managed service offerings, provide a cost-effective and comprehensive managed solution. Confirm product requirements, assist sales in technical qualification. Articulate and demonstrate solutions, influence customer's technical requirements, position products relative to competition. Utilize system design tools to design system layouts. Review sales quotes and confirm equipment lists are correct. Provide presales support to customers and communicate with clients technical team. Assist in creating and implementing proofofconcepts for clients. Assist account executives by answering technical questions and making technical presentations. Assist Jr. Solution Engineers with designs and pricing projects; review projects and support when designs need revisions. Assist the Senior Manager of Solution Engineering with onboarding new Solutions Engineers. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Postsecondary degree/diploma in electronics or equivalent technical college degree. 57 years of experience as a Senior Solutions Engineer in a midtolarge size security integrator. 10+ years experience in technical products and services in the security industry. Strong and thorough knowledge in the Security industry CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, PLCs, Relays, Gate Control, Fence Detection, Network Infrastructure, Intercoms, etc. Industry association participation and/or leadership preferred. Advanced communication skills both written, verbal and presentations to senior executive levels. Expert user level of computer systems: Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio and documentation control systems. Intermediate user level of CAD. Working Conditions WFH Based on location.
