What Youll Do Champion and deliver Claystones capital program, managing projects from concept to close-out. Lead engineering design, construction, and environmental compliance across landfill, composting, and transfer operations. Implement Claystones Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) and serve as the Responsible Member under APEGA. Oversee engineering consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. Manage environmental permitting and regulatory compliance in collaboration with consultants and authorities. Provide technical guidance to operations and business development teams on design, feasibility, and financial analysis. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff through structured performance and professional development plans. Represent Claystone with regulators, municipal partners, and community stakeholders. What You Bring Bachelors degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or related discipline). P.Eng. designation (or eligibility for registration with APEGA within 30 days). 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in environmental infrastructure, civil works, or waste management. Proven record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing large-scale projects. Strong working knowledge of CAD, modeling software, and project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.). Expertise in QA / QC, root cause analysis, and risk-based project management. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills balancing technical depth with practical execution.
