This is a fulltime, onsite position requiring attendance in the office five days per week. Location and Commute Senior Accountant will be based at our corporate office in Burlington. Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Help maintain and accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately and in a timely manner during monthend, quarterend, and yearend close processes. Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support overall accounting operational functions. Thoroughly review accounting reports for precision and compliance. Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for the company. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations. Perform any other related duties as necessary or as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or business administration required. Minimum of 57 years or more of relevant accounting function experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation or progression toward is preferred. Preferred Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate with the team. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Streamline is desirable. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
