About the Role Individual must be adept at constructing financial plans. Responsibilities Helping organize client info You'll gather and input key details into our financial planning tools so we can build clear, personalized plans. Prepping for client conversations From putting together presentation materials to updating plans, youll help make sure every meeting is smooth and valuable. Keeping plans fresh Life changes, and so do financial goals. Youll help monitor and adjust plans so they stay aligned with what matters most to our clients. Spotting new ways to help Whether its insurance, banking, or other services, youll look for opportunities to deepen relationships and add value. Getting ready for meetings Youll assist in preparing client files and background info so our team is ready to deliver great advice. Joining client meetings Youll sit in as second chair, supporting the advisor and learning firsthand how we guide clients through their financial journey. Qualifications Minimum 5 years financial planning experience CIRO licensed for mutual funds or fully licensed an asset CFP, QAFP or another qualified planning designation or willing to obtain. Knowledge of Conquest financial planning software an asset Business Administration Diploma or other Postsecondary degree in a relevant business discipline or equivalent experience Past experience in a role involving financial planning and using financial planning software Strong computer skills in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) Required Skills Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently Problem solver with an ability to anticipate and understand future steps necessary to accomplish tasks Critical thinker who can come up with unique ways to solve problems Preferred Skills Our Thought: This is a challenging role but is perfect for someone who is excited to see how the financial planning process can enhance client relationships and grow a successful practice.
