What The Day Will Look Like Deliver continuous excellence in servicing and growing an existing book. Identify specific client and prospect needs, develop innovative and costeffective solutions. Review, revise, and build insurance programs with the clients risk profile and insurance objectives in mind. Coordinate or provide oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize account activities and profitability in a valuebased approach. Lead and oversee the 120day renewal process, including preparing the renewal report, presenting to client for approval, obtaining the binding order, and reviewing policy documentation. Assist in the review of claims and manage client issues around claims handling. Develop and manage key relationships to become the clients risk management advisor. Crosssell and expand existing insurance programs, increasing penetration sales and cultivating new business opportunities. Focus on new business production. Assist in the development of annual sales and marketing strategy designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunities. Develop new contacts and build relationships with prospects that align with the regions/branchs acknowledged target industry or segment groups. Provide leadership necessary for the delivery of insurance and industryrelated presentations/seminars to prospects and clients. Act as the visible face of Aon to the clients/prospects in the community, working to consistently prospect and facilitate lead generation activities. Lead and mentor junior members of the team. Perform other related duties as assigned. How This Opportunity Is Different This role will be part of the FI Canada team managing our Financial Institutions portfolio of clients and will give you an opportunity to work with our clients senior leaders in the development and management of their Corporate Insurance Programs. Aside from standard client management and risk assessment, there will be opportunity to take on presentations and education opportunities for our clients and colleagues (including content creation). This role will report into the Western Canada FI Leader and support collaborative program and portfolio growth. Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success Five (5) to seven (7) years of commercial insurance experience. Fundamental insurance background and knowledge. Experience with Financial Institution insurance products is desired but not a requirement. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written. Previous experience managing clients with a focus on client engagement, education and relationship building. Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision. Ability to mentor more junior team members. Demonstrated success in a current or previous production focused role. Strong understanding of financial lines; property and casualty experience is an asset. Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize completing requirements and deadlines under pressure. Education Post Secondary Degree or equivalent. ICBC Level 2 or AIC Level 1 (and above) License required. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
