The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the overall brand strategy, innovation, and integrated marketing execution for Galdermas consumer skincare portfolio in Canada. This role combines strategic leadership with handson execution to deliver business growth, build brand equity, and strengthen consumer and professional engagement across multiple channels. As the senior brand lead, this position oversees the development and implementation of strategies across media, digital, and innovation , ensuring the brands continue to lead in both retail and professional skincare markets. The Senior Marketing Manager drives crossfunctional collaboration, guiding teams across Sales, ECommerce, and Medical functions to achieve aligned business objectives. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, analytical thinking, and creative leadership to turn insights into impactful marketing programs that accelerate brand performance. The Senior Marketing Manager also plays a key leadership role within the Dermatological Skincare Leadership Team , contributing to business planning, portfolio strategy, and team capability development. Key Responsibilities Brand Performance Management: Own brand P&L responsibility, including forecasting, pricing, and budget management to deliver topline and profitability targets. Strategic Planning: Lead annual and longrange brand planning, ensuring strategies are aligned with business unit priorities and growth ambitions. Innovation Leadership: Partner with global teams and local crossfunctional stakeholders to identify, validate, and launch innovation opportunities. Portfolio Management: Assess and optimize the product portfolio (SKU rationalization, pricing strategy, pack architecture) to ensure relevance and efficiency across channels. GotoMarket Excellence: Lead the development of 360 marketing campaigns (media, retail, digital, PR, and medical), ensuring flawless execution and consistency in brand messaging. Agency & Vendor Management: Direct external agency partners (media, creative, digital, influencer) to ensure bestinclass strategy, creative development, and performance delivery. Insights & Analytics: Leverage consumer, shopper, and professional insights to shape brand positioning, optimize communication, and inform decisionmaking. Stakeholder Engagement: Represent marketing in internal forums and leadership meetings, providing strategic updates and influencing key business decisions. Talent Development: Coach, mentor, and build capability within the marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and innovation. Compliance & Brand Stewardship: Ensure all marketing activities align with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and brand standards. Demonstrate honesty and integrity, and model behaviours consistent with Galdermas Four Commitments, company standards and policies. Demonstrate agility and adaptability in learning new technologies and business processes. Perform other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support departmental and organizational objectives. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in brand management or marketing, ideally within the consumer packaged goods (CPG), skincare, or healthcare industry Proven track record leading brand strategy, innovation, and digital marketing initiatives with measurable business impact Strong understanding of both retail and professional (medicalgrade skincare) channels Experience managing media planning, digital ecosystems, and influencer programs (macro and micro) Demonstrated success in leading crossfunctional teams and managing agency partners (creative, media, digital, PR) Solid financial acumen with experience managing brand P&L, forecasting, and budget allocation Skills and Abilities: Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on coaching and team development Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Highly proficient in digital analytics, social media, and performance marketing metrics Exceptional project management and organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills Collaborative and agile, with the ability to influence across different levels and functions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Nielsen, TABS, Power BI, or CRM tools is an asset Travel 15% in North America and minimum once per year to Europe #J-18808-Ljbffr
