Construction Superintendent Englehart Georgia-Pacific LLC is hiring a Construction Superintendent for the Englehart Canada facilities. The role involves supporting capital and small projects, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and operations/maintenance departments to safely and successfully execute assigned projects. Approximately 5% travel outside of Canada is required. Responsibilities Ensure all assigned projects are completed safely and on schedule. Continuously foster the GP PBM process. Confirm quality inspections meet GP and facility specifications, codes, and requirements. Manage construction teams and coordinate construction and installation activities for assigned projects. Collaborate with engineering to verify drawing accuracy and constructability. Participate in prebid and bid meetings to provide contractors with accurate construction information. Maintain a customerfocused approach to project management, continuously seeking ways to improve execution. Support Englehart facility projects in close partnership with the assigned PM. Basic Qualifications Minimum of five years as a construction superintendent or general foreman. Ability to perform material takeoffs for various projects. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience managing construction crews and mentoring contractors. Must be able to relocate or already reside within an hour of the Englehart facility. Additional Advantages Experience in plywood, fiber board, lumber, and pulp and paper facilities. OSHA 30 qualified. Experience conducting quality control inspections and reviews. Knowledge of welding procedures and welding. Experience with plywood or OSB presses.
