The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated, confident individual to join the Canada Strategic Pursuits and Proposals team. As a Senior Pursuit and Proposal Strategist, you provide strategic and tactical support to help win new business. You actively participate in the proposal/pursuit management process, building and executing on pursuit/proposal strategies, coauthoring content for proposals, oral presentations, and other pursuit collateral. In this role, you will work with Client Executives, client service professionals, designers, other Pursuit/Proposal Strategists across Canada, and an international team of Pursuit Coordinators. Your Key Responsibilities Manage the strategic communications process on the firms largest and strategically significant pursuits. Research, write and edit standard and customized proposal content. Actively drive the pursuit/proposal as part of the proposal management process, coordinating information from contributors and following up on action items to achieve a coordinated team effort. Contribute and/or facilitate meetings with bid response team members. Monitor progress of all pursuit activities for adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Manage multiple proposals/priorities simultaneously. Review final pursuit collateral for quality, format and content to ensure adherence to the firms brand standards. Serve as a liaison between the proposal response team and other support functions. Provide oral presentation coaching. Build and leverage relationships within the Markets Organization across the country. Contribute to team, firm and Market Organization initiatives as part of continuous improvement objectives. Provide mentorship to Pursuit Strategists and share leading practices with pursuit teams. Under the guidance of the Canada Strategic Pursuit Leader, provide mentorship and guide a team of Pursuit and Proposal Strategists while participating in the leadership of the larger team. What We Look For Exceptional writing and editing skills. Strong business acumen. Organized, detailoriented and highly deadlinedriven. Strong project management skills, the ability to establish priorities, set and manage schedules, and coordinate multiple projects at one time. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong business understanding and developed peopleleading skills. Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and cloudbased technology. Direct or indirect experience managing a team of people. Bachelors degree in Language, Communications, Marketing or Business; graduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 710 years relevant proposal/pursuit experience with large, complex consulting deals. People management / team leadership experience. This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset. Ideally, youll also Be experienced in professional services (e.g., accounting, management consulting, legal, architectural, engineering) proposal development.
