General Merchandise Associate FR (Canada) Join Walmart Canada as a General Merchandise Associate and develop your retail skills. You will provide exemplary customer service, maintain store organization, and support sales across the general merchandise category. Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service by greeting all customers politely and with courtesy, promoting products and services, aiding shoppers in product selection, and resolving customer concerns. Cover one or more designated areas within the sales floor. Perform zone location and restock the assigned section. Move featured items to the primary module. Replenish merchandise at the customer service counter and other store areas. Assist in cover of the checkout area. Communicate with other associates to maintain coverage at the checkout area. Contribute to a safe, clean, and obstaclefree work environment by following company policies and procedures, completing safety scan logs, and securing displays. Store, select, and, if necessary, unstack merchandise; install security devices and populate modular displays, including flexible modules and new wall panels.
