Production Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor to manage our production department daily. This role involves overseeing a team of graders and stackers, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and utilizing your experience in the warehousing and produce industry. Proficiency in paperwork and computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office is essential! Responsibilities Oversee the production and grading department responsible for sorting fresh produce to meet customer specifications. Manage labor requirements and productivity to achieve set case cost and efficiency metrics. Complete required paperwork and necessary items within the computer systems accurately. Provide instructions, coaching, and training to employees while communicating production and quality requirements/expectations. Communicate, enforce, and adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OH&S and Food Safe regulations. Conduct employee evaluations. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team ranging from 20-70 staff, including shipper receivers, general labor/production, and QC roles. Shifts run from Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM, with some flexibility required. The dress code is casual, with PPE such as steel toe boots and safety vests provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, Alberta. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
