Mining Maintenance Manager Position Title: Mining Maintenance Manager Location: Fort McMurray, AB Full-time, Permanent Shift: Monday to Friday (5x2) Our client, a major organization with a strong presence in Albertas mining sector, is seeking a Mining Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations. This unique opportunity is for an experienced leader with strong mobile fleet expertise to take ownership of largescale mining maintenance programs and drive continuous improvement across site operations. Key Responsibilities Provide visible, proactive leadership to the mine site maintenance team. Oversee the maintenance and reliability of a large mobile fleet, including haul trucks, dozers, loaders, shovels, and support equipment. Design and execute strategic maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and availability. Collaborate closely with production, planning, and reliability teams to align maintenance activities with production goals. Drive innovation through the use of technology, automation, and predictive maintenance systems. Track KPIs, analyze operational trends, and implement costsaving initiatives. Foster a strong safetyfirst culture across all maintenance activities. Develop and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and skilled trades personnel. Qualifications & Experience Degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience. Minimum 10 years of mining operations experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing maintenance teams. Proven experience managing maintenance for mobile mining fleets at a producing mine. Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in mining. Demonstrated success in team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management. Experience with maintenance planning systems, CMMS software, and reliability tools. Proactive, collaborative mindset with ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
