Project Controls Specialist Heavy Civil (Highways, Roads, Bridges) Location: Markham | Type: Full-time, On-site | Salary: $170,000 $195,000 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to support major infrastructure projects (highways, roads, bridges). This role ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to scope, with a focus on cost control, scheduling, reporting, and risk management. Key Responsibilities Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance. Create and manage construction schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project). Prepare cost/schedule reports, earned value analysis, and cash flow projections. Support risk identification, change management, claims, and dispute resolution. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide financial and scheduling guidance. Qualifications 10+ years of project controls experience in heavy civil/infrastructure. Strong skills in cost management, scheduling, and risk analysis. Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI. Experience in contract administration and claims support. Degree/diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (P.Eng, PMP, CCP an asset).
