Responsibilities Provide technical accounting advisory services, including assessment of significant transactions, new accounting standards and frameworks. Support clients through their gopublic journey, developing strategies, milestones and regulatory compliance plans. Conduct technical research, document findings and identify accounting issues in contracts and agreements. Perform financial statement audits and interim reviews for public companies in Canada and the US. Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS, SEC and other regulatory requirements. Apply knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE to client engagements. Summarize financial status through balance sheets, P&L statements and other reports. Assess audit evidence for expenses, revenues, capital assets, payables, receivables and prepaid expenses. Investigate and correct discrepancies, irregularities and errors in financial records. Prepare correspondence, technical reports and client presentations outlining findings. Develop strong client relationships and mentor junior team members. Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities. Maintain flexibility for travel as required. Skills and Experience Completion of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. 35 years of relevant public accounting experience. Extensive knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE and SEC reporting requirements. Strong technical research and problemsolving abilities. Understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles.
