Role Overview You will be part of a global infrastructure team responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise identity and messaging services. This position is focused on Level 3 support and engineering of Active Directory and secure messaging platforms (Exchange / Ironport), contributing to both operational stability and strategic projects. As part of a distributed team, you will collaborate with colleagues in North America, Europe, and Asia. The role offers opportunities to engage in global initiatives, security enhancements, and modernization efforts across a complex Windows and messaging infrastructure environment. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 3 operational support for the Active Directory environment in the AMER region. Partner with the US team on Active Directory and secure messaging environments. Manage and secure the Cisco Ironport infrastructure integrated with Microsoft Exchange. Implement and maintain email security controls (SPF, antispam, antimalware, etc.). Support the global messaging infrastructure (including Asia): Ironport and Exchange Online. Contribute to scripting, automation, and optimization (Active Directory, load balancer). Participate in global infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and security improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Active Directory, ADFS, and messaging services. Ensure compliance with global IT policies and security standards. Participate in the maintenance of core services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and certificate authorities. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvements. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills Cisco IronPort SEG, extensive handson experience (Proofpoint is a plus). Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online (M365), Exchange 2016/2019/SE administration. Strong email security controls expertise (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, antispam, antimalware). Active Directory expertise, including Group Policy, ADFS, Entra ID, and SAML. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and commandline management for automation and troubleshooting. Skilled in managing and optimizing Windows Server 2016/2019 environments. Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, load balancers, and enterprise backup/restore tools. Familiarity with Azure services/IaaS, virtual machines, and vendor appliances. Experience with ServiceNow and ITILbased Change/Incident Management processes. Professional Experience Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 10+ years of relevant experience, with proven capability as a senior project member. Previous experience in the financial services industry is highly advantageous. Additional Skills Analytical, detailoriented, and proactive in identifying improvement areas. Hybrid model: 2-3 days per week onsite in Montreal. Candidate must be based in Montreal or willing to relocate. Languages: Fluency in English required; French language skills are a strong asset.
