Role Description As a Quality Control Inspector, Level II, you will perform all quality related activities and oversight for the assigned project, as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager. The incumbent is required to adhere to Promation Nuclears quality program governance. Qualified for projects with the following QA levels: CSA B51 CSA N299/Z299 (all categories) CSA ISO9001 Key Responsibilities Specify appropriate quality programs for procurement of items and services. Develop and manage inspection and test plans. Receive, perform inprocess and final inspections per ITP requirements, including: Acceptance of materials (including nonnuclear pressure boundary materials) Acceptance of special process results such as heat treatment, surface coating, welding, etc. Witnessing of testing (functional, pressure, etc.) Basic dimensional inspections Liaise with the Authorized Inspector. Monitor procurement activities for QA compliance. Initiate nonconformance and corrective actions for product and process nonconformities. Prepare history files/dockets. Process, authenticate, and accept quality records. Perform internal audits and/or self assessments. Provide training and guidance to employees and suppliers on QA policies and expectations. Participate in the Continuous Improvement Program. Participate in professional development. Perform other QA/QC related activities or assignments as directed by the QA Manager. Qualifications Secondary school diploma required. Postsecondary education in a related technical field (e.g., Quality, Engineering) or equivalent relevant work experience. Minimum of 35 years of relevant experience in inspection and/or testing activities. Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and verbal communication. Effective team player able to collaborate with diverse teams. Highly selfmotivated with strong initiative to complete tasks independently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks as necessary. High level of conscientiousness with strong attention to detail.
