Base pay range CA$70,000.00/yr - CA$85,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from MB Recruitment Canada Our client, located in Surrey, is recruiting for a Superstar Technical Sales Rep. The role is at a mechanical engineering company providing project-based rotating equipment (gears, gearboxes, clutches, hydraulics) solutions to various industries. This company has worked in energy, hydroelectric, movable infrastructure, mining and marine industries. It is an agile, dynamic company with high, technical acumen. Responsibilities Prepare proposal/quotation for inquiries by defining application, determining feasibility, preliminary system design, create performance specifications and bid documentation. Collaborate with the project team to develop bid documentation including detailed quote estimates. Ensure customers receive best-in-class service and serve as a point-of-contact for sales accounts. Respond to customer enquiries and develop quotations. Request updated pricing from vendors and use to create product pricing. Collaborate with customer contacts, up to and including senior level executives, to define needs and provide solutions. Analyze, assess, and document client results to ensure customer needs are being met. Determine and address clients parts and service needs through actively maintaining communications with operations and maintenance departments. Explore and expand into developing markets, creating business cases and/or investigating companies and opportunities. Collaborate with the Sales Director to build on the Companys current marketing materials and marketing strategy. Represent the Company at trade shows and other events. Promote and maintain the organizations brand image and identity within the marketplace. Provide input and assist in development of presentations and other marketing avenues including social media, website, other. Create and conduct in-depth sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value the companys products/services. Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) degree or diploma. Experience in mechanical design using solid modeling software is an asset. Familiarity with machine shop processes, bearings, metal and rotating equipment. Experience in Oil & Gas, turbomachinery, heavy industry or other rotating equipment. Experience in a systems integration role is an asset. Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, other stakeholders. Ability to create innovative approaches to problems. Ability to write clear and concise value proposition statements. Ability to create and edit sales materials and presentations. Selfsufficient and highly organized. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
