Job Overview Were seeking a Sr. SAP IT Business Analyst, MM/MDM who thrives at the center of it all. This isnt just another SAP MM/MDM role, it's an opportunity to be the heartbeat of our enterprise transformation, defining scope, objectives and improvements in ERP and other integrated IT applications. In this role youll drive our MM and MDM workstream activities, steering initiatives from requirement gathering through configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization. Youll manage end-to-end material master data migration with deep handson experience using LSMW, and ensure seamless integration across critical modules MM, QM, PP, WM, and Finance. Its collaborative, proactive, and strategic. You take initiative to connect the dots, initiate conversations, and align crossfunctional teams to ensure every data decision supports operations and unlocks value. With material master data at the core of our systems, your expertise will directly influence operational performance and future scalability. Responsibilities Drive SAP MM workstream activities, acting as primary point of contact for business stakeholders and technical teams Execute material master data mapping from legacy system to SAP, coordinating with crossfunctional teams and business leads; perform and manage data migration activities for material master, including data transformation, cleansing, load file preparation, and execution of data loads into SAP using standard tools (LSMW, Syniti) Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and develop Tobe process flows in SAP with boundary systems integration. Additionally, translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications Integrate SAP MM modules with other SAP modules such as SAP PP, SAP SD, SAP WM, and SAP FI/CO to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency Validate technical solutions through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to SAP MM and provide advanced troubleshooting support Oversee the technical aspects of project solution delivery and ensure adherence to process governance; stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP MM technology, including new hardware, software, and systems techniques Develop and maintain technical documentation for all implemented SAP MM solutions Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, coupled with excellent communication and listening skills 6+ years of handson SAP experience and at least 2 full endtoend SAP implementations, with focus on SAP MM and SAP MDM processes Strong experience of material master data structure, dependencies, and integration with other SAP modules (PP, SD, WM/EWM) Proficiency in data migration tools (LSMW, SAP Data services, or equivalent) and experience in data mapping and transformation Proven experience in variant configuration setup and usage in manufacturing industries Core Competencies Lead endtoend process for data mapping, transformation, and validation of master data such as material master data, BOMs, routes, configured materials Coordinate with legacy system owners, business leads, and crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate conversion Independently drive functional activities related to large ERP implementations Lead the design, development, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM application forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (FRICE) to meet the needs of the business and project scope Support design and configuration of SAP variant configuration solutions to support complex, configurable products in a manufacturing environment Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure SAP VC setups align with product structures and production processes Support configured material master data setup and ensure accurate variant pricing and costing Ensure BOMs, routes, and engineering change data are correctly maintained and integrated in SAP Maintain the Enterprise application solution by coordinating new design requirements and FRICE development with ongoing deployments, supporting reviews with the Change Audit Board (CAB), and following company guidelines Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM solutions with business processes Preferences Master degree (MBA) Expertise in data analysis, data reporting, and data validation SAP MM certification Proficiency in SAP Variant configuration (VC) and SAPWindchill Integration Understanding of engineering processes in manufacturing Travel & Work Arrangements Remote based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Travel anticipated up to 25% Required: Citizen or Permanent Resident What We Offer At Ingersoll Rand, we embrace a culture of personal ownership taking responsibility for our company, our communities, and our environment, as well as our individual health and wellbeing.
