As a DTO Trainer Fixed Ops , you will deliver training and support to new and existing customers on our Dealer Management Software (DMS) in the Parts and/or Service silo. Youll lead virtual sessions via phone and online platforms as well as provide onsite training during new client software installations. Your role is key to ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding experience. Responsibilities Develop proficiency and stay up to date with PBS Software Expertise. Master the process of training new customers on the Parts and/or Service silo of PBS software. Proactively learn new products to expand our PBS knowledge. Conduct training sessions for our customers in the assigned silo, and when possible in other silos. Perform installation tasks and serve as a reliable installation resource without the need for direct supervision. Confidently navigate and discuss the features of our Dealer Management Software to deliver exceptional support and solutions to our customers. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively identifying client needs and ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded. Accurately enter and update data into company databases and systems, ensuring completeness and correctness of information. Maintain documentation and update it as departmental processes evolve. Document tickets, investigate arising issues, and elevate them to the appropriate teams. Effectively prioritize and manage tasks independently, demonstrating sound judgment without requiring direction from Team Leads. Promptly respond to both internal and external training requests. Share knowledge within your own silo and with others across the DTO team. Commit to continued education and crosstraining activities. Ensure consistent monitoring of the client calls queue. Create and maintain a positive work environment. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. MustHave Qualifications 12 years experience in a dealership environment, with a focus in Fixed Operations. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to travel within the USA and Canada up to 2 weeks per month; valid passport (or US/Canadian visa, if applicable) and valid fullclass drivers license. Additional Skills PBS software experience is a strong asset. Excellent communication skills, including presentation and public speaking. Experience facilitating inperson and virtual training sessions. Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities. Outstanding documentation abilities. High School Diploma.
