Adecco is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team, a respected and growing construction firm based in Calgary, Alberta. In this role, you'll lead construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safety, cost control, quality, and schedule are consistently maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who excels in leadership, communication, and project execution within the multi-family or mixed-use wood frame construction sector. Pay Rate: $120k-$135k / year. Location: Calgary, AB Job type: Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities Oversee and maintain safety, cost control, quality, record keeping, and schedule management throughout the project lifecycle. Demonstrate strong leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection. Lead and mentor construction teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment with project goals. Manage project schedules, budgets, and milestones to achieve timely completion. Conduct project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability. Identify and mitigate project risks while maximizing opportunities for improved performance. Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), productivity, and budget adherence. Manage all contractual obligations, financial reporting, and change orders. Ensure effective pre-commissioning and turnover to meet client expectations. Support bid clarifications and trade contractor coordination. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, sub-trades, and city officials. Requirements Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada. Minimum 5 years' experience managing wood frame multi-family or mixed-use projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of Alberta Building and Safety Codes. Proficiency in Word, Email, Bluebeam, and other basic software tools. Proven experience in estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and financial reporting. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to anticipate and resolve constructability issues effectively. Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract. Professional Engineering, Technology designation, or Journeyperson certification is an asset. Experience in structural, envelope, mechanical, and electrical systems is considered an asset. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills are an asset. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is an asset.
