Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District Salary Or Wage: $18.75 to $20 per hour Start Date: As soon as possible Job Type: Part Time List of Requirements Previous deli, grocery, or food service experience is an asset (training provided) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with or without supervision Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs Maintaining all food safety and hygiene standards Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays List of Duties Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner Prepare, slice, weigh, and package deli meats, cheeses, and prepare charcuterie boxes Maintain product displays, ensuring freshness and visual appeal Handle cash and process sales accurately at the register Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and well-stocked About the Role: Were looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Deli Clerk / Sales Associate to join our team!
