Your Opportunity Our Whistler office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Insights & Reporting Group and own the following responsibilities: Prepare compilation engagements, in addition to corporate tax returns for clients in a variety of businesses and nonprofit enterprises Build effective working relationships with client contacts and respond effectively to client requests Prepare trust returns and trust working papers Prepare tax returns (T1s, T2s, T4s, T5s, UHT, GST/HST, and charity returns) Ensure that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner, and keep them informed of the progress of the engagement Follow up with appropriate government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, UHT, and business numbers How do we define success for your role?
