Position Summary The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and the Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. What youll do Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor. Establish and develop a strong working relationship with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders. Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals. Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using the established workflow models and counsel all patients on sold pharmaceutical products. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products. Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs. Operate all equipment in the pharmacy (register, computer system, etc.), protect and maintain patient privacy at all times and follow provincial regulations established by the regulatory body. Provide all eligible services patients are entitled to (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet specific patient needs. Follow OBW regulations as per the Relief Pharmacist program. Travel to various locations and follow the schedules set by the Relief program coordinator. Develop and establish collaborative relationships with other health care providers within the store (clinics, Vision Centre, community, etc.). Minimum Qualifications License - Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization) Preferred Qualifications Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position.
