With a vision of creating a generational impact for clients, our staff and our community. We liaise with community groups and organizations to work towards building capacity in our community for improving services to immigrants and refugees. Overview We are currently hiring for an Integration Facilitator. Working from the WIS offices in Brandon, an Integration Facilitator is responsible for supporting the delivery of integration programs and events in Brandon and regional offices. Responsibilities Provide information, orientation, referral and support to individuals, families, and the community Support the delivery of integration programs and events to help eligible clients develop connections within the community Help clients build a support network to better adjust into their new community Develop partnerships with multicultural groups, employers, and education institutes to help deliver programs, and effectively link clients with appropriate community services Outreach to newcomer individuals and families Maintain up to date knowledge of all services inhouse and in the community to support clients to allow for appropriate referrals Support initiatives including events, marketing promotions etc., held to engage with clients and a variety of stakeholders Stay informed of current resources, trends, changes and services gaps in community and communities Maintain accurate records of services provided, statistics, and prepare reports as required Create an inspiring, engaging and collaborative atmosphere within teams and other WIS departments to achieve collective goals and deliver quality service to clients Participate in professional development activities to remain current in the field Provide management with operational support as required Skill, Ability and Licensing Requirements Public speaking, creative thinking and excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working knowledge of community resources Organizational and time management skills Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office, databased programs and IT tools Strong proficiency and ability to communicate in English Provide a clear Criminal Record, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Driver Abstract; where required Possess a valid Manitoba Driver's Licence and access to reliable transportation Ability to work collaboratively with management, employees, and community stakeholders in a diverse environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
